The world has finally awakened to the serpents in the garden

Friday's takedown of all four bombers, and one who abandoned his mission. was spectacular. The rapid response of Italian and Zambian police shows a cooperation much needed. And this final Islamic outrage galvanized many countries to really get tough on extremism. France is starting a wide-spread deportation of the Wahhabi imams and the other foreign radicals. Even naturalized Frenchmen won't be exempted. Like those of most Western countries, the French have allowed this radicalism to gain a foothold on their soil. When the Parisian police have to make a raid on the North African suburbs, they have to go in like a platoon because the Arab residents bombard them with garbage from the rooftops or try to burn their cars. One cop called it "The Jungle". And, mind you, this is just to protect their gangsters. What would they do if the cops were hunting down their brothers or cousins for a terrorist attack? Or their burqa clad bombers?

Perhaps the most welcome development this week was General Musharraf's crackdown on the vast number of virulently anti-western (a.k.a anti-modernity) madrassas. He is deporting all the thousands of foreign religious students and ending visas for future students. Radical clerics are being rounded up. 600 extremists have been detained in the last week alone. Musharraf knows that Pakistan could easily be the next Afganistan if the fundamentalists win power. The Taliban with nuclear bombs. This is very courageous, as the religious nuts have tried to assassinate him twice and his military intelligence branch is heavily infiltrated by Islamic extremists. There is still a reasonably large, educated, middle class, who could create something out of the country. However, Musharraf seems to have made a deal with the shadow opposition, made up of the clerics and the fundamentalist politicos. Therefore it will only be a partial crackdown. Still, a gutsy guy to do what he can. I'm sure the extremists are plotting their next assassination attempt.

In the once-so-tolerant countries of the Netherlands and Denmark there is a backlash and now Muslim immigrants are seen as a time bomb. They didn't assimilate, or even want to. Their presence was a rebuke to everything these Europeans held dear--gender equality, modern laws, and a separation of church and state. A hugely alien philosophy was embraced by this Muslim community. Not only did they not embrace the open society of the Dutch and Danish, they despised it for its perceived decadence. Intermarriage was practically unheard of in the Islamic areas. This dissonance between the two cultures was bearable until the murderous intent among some Muslims became known. Studies and polls began to show that these immigrants were and are frequently supportive of Islamic terrorist attacks. Most didn't think they should assimilate to European culture; rather it is Europeans who should accept Sharia law as the only law. These polls became shock therapy for the host countries.

This scenario is being played out all over Europe. It is manifested along the famous Vienna Danube riverfront. In 36 C heat, there are the Muslims away up the bank, far from the restaurants, cafes, and the very infidels themselves. The Young Viennese clad in halters, shorts--and yes, even thong bathing suits. In the middle of the river is Donau Insul, the artificially-created island, where nude bathing is permitted. But far away from all this are the Muslims, their women swaddled in thick black outfits, sitting separate from their menfolk. A friend said, "And many of these are the second generation." How to stem this growing resentment of western ideas is the challenge. In countries like Denmark the demographics are horrifying. If the native Danes don't increase their birthrate, they will soon see a Muslim majority, with all that this would entail. There are now billboards showing a young blond Danish girl and underneath is the message, "In thirty years she will be a minority."

The future implications of a"Eurabia" replacing the cultures of Austria, Italy, and other European states is unbearable to think about. While we are pondering our response, the numbers of disaffected Muslim kids grows. In the You/Gov poll taken in England of Muslim attitudes towards the London bombings, the feared truth emerged. 1% of those polled said they fully supported violence to change Britain. 12% couldn't condemn the bombers. 63% thought Britain was corrupt and decadent and should be brought down. The multiculturalist's worst nightmare has been revealed--the ultimate canker in the rose.

It is time to have a serious study of future immigration patterns. That shibboleth that "all cultures are of equal value" has to rethought. In Canada, less than half of the imams signed that declaration that stated terrorism was wrong. Unlike the British and American Islamic clerics, they didn't go as far as to pronounce a fatwa against it. This arouses more suspicion than it calms. Does the You/Gov poll hold true here in Canada? The Liberals should commission a similar poll--and publish it, no matter what it concludes. It is our right to know what we are facing, and if it is gruesome, then new immigration quotas will have to be created. Has our dithering PM and his immigrant-addicted party got the nerve to really lead? Think of that during election time.

According to the authors, because Husky Energy, controlled by Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing, is a "Canadian" company in that Li Ka-shing is a Canadian resident (citizen?), if it teams up with CNOOC to make a bid for Unocal, that might "side-step political concerns over the bid". CNOOC, state-run by China, has offered $1.8-billion in cash for Unocal. According to an unnamed hedge fund analyst, Husky has expressed an interest in teaming up with CNOOC to buy Unocal.

Husky already has ties to CNOOC. Husky has a 40% interest in the Wenchang Oilfields Project in Asia, while CNOOC ha s a 60% interest and is the project operator.

The authors think that "As a Canadian company, it wouldn't be subject to the same political scrutiny." but some Americans who are aware might be a bit leery of the business. Dig a little deeper and you will find some connections worth considering.

Americans and Unocal stockholders might want to consider this

The Chinese triads are inextricably woven into the fabric of Chinese society. For the last two centuries, wherever the Chinese have emigrated, they have taken with them their secret groups. Triads are the world's largest criminal fraternity, and Hong Kong, with four major triad societies and numerous smaller ones, 55 in total, is the home to more ethnic Chinese gangsters than anywhere else on Earth. Today the triads operate an unrivalled criminal empire. Extortion, gambling, international prostitution, illegal immigration, smuggling, money laundering, fraud, corruption, arms, and narcotics dealing all fall within their remit.

Canada's governments under Jean Chretien and now under Paul Martin are loathe to recognize and admit this. It is worth considering.

[. . . . ] The Canadian mission was warned in the early sixties and seventies that many in the Royal Hong Kong Police were triad members. Those warnings were ignored, and Canada accepted many Hong Kong police, some joining the RCMP. However, in 1977 a scandal dubbed The Quiet Dragons was aired on the CBC. It revealed that at least 40 corrupt policemen who were also triad members were living comfortably in Canada, with tens of millions of dollars gained from bribery and drug trafficking. Requests for a royal commission were dismissed.

[. . . . ] from 1991 to 1993 I reported, in a series of more than 30 extensively detailed reports, that triads had infested Canada's immigration system. . . .

Aswat, who is understood to have left Batley 10 years ago, is said to have entered the UK by ferry a fortnight before the first wave of bombings.

Abdurahman Alamoudi, President of the American Muslim Council, supporter of Hamas, Hezbollah and accused of ties with Osama bin Laden, helped develop "Religious Expression in Public School" with the ACLU which holds the copyright. Launched by Clinton in 1995, these "Presidential Guidelines" greatly impact public schools today. Nadine Strossen, President of the ACLU, refers to these guidelines as the authority to support the ACLU's lawsuits restricting Christmas celebrations and removing Nativity scenes from public schools.

[. . . . ] Alamoudi met often with then President and Hillary Clinton and has been described as Hillary's friend and advisor on Islamic affairs. Protected by Clinton's Presidential Guidelines, funding for Islamic educational materials began pouring in from Saudi Arabia and Muslim nations.

ALL observant Suuni and Shia Muslims are extremists Posted by Yashiko Sagamori on 08:06:07 2005/07/30 -- The Mythical Muslim Extremist by Yashiko Sagamori

[. . . . ] An Islamic scholar, responding to questions regarding the recent terrorist acts in London, explained that Islam does not distinguish between unarmed civilians and armed soldiers. The only meaningful distinction in Islam is between Muslims and infidels. He wasn't talking about Sunni Islam, or Shia Islam, or moderate Islam, or extreme Islam. He was talking about the only Islam there is. None of the commonly recognized Islamic authorities found it necessary to correct him. If you want my personal opinion, when it comes to real Islam, not the "religion of peace" invented by Jewish and Christian liberals to accommodate their suicidal social theories, I trust Islamic scholars more than our own experts and politicians. While the latter mumble something unbelievably sweet about "moderate Muslims", Muslims, who are neither moderate nor extremist, but simply observant, honestly tell us that their goal is to conquer us. I see no reason whatsoever to doubt their genocidal intentions or their ability to follow up on them. Just look what they have already achieved in Europe. We are still behind, but we are moving in the same direction.

And this brings me to this very important point. If we want to survive as a civilization, we must learn to classify Muslims not as moderate and extremist, because such distinctions only exist in our imagination; not as Sunni and Shia, because both are our mortal enemies determined to exterminate us before they go for each other's throats; but simply as observant and non-observant. Bud: National security--Where's the beef? & Islam for dummies

National security--Where's the beef?

Colin Kenny, the the chair of the The Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Defense, has been sounding the alarm that all is not well on the security front. In fact, almost all is wretched. Still, we are told, we have criminals working at our airports. One plane groomer was able to retrieve $50,000 worth of drugs from the planes per trip. He made twenty trips before he was apprehended. He claimed the dope was stashed all over the planes--ofter in seats. Kenny's comment on that: "The people who work around the planes--the groomers, the luggage handlers, the caterers--all are only checked on a random basis." He went on to say that "It's a random system that we have seen beaten regularly." Kenny maintains that to regularily check every employee who has restricted access is costly; nevertheless, thanks to the $14 security fee, the Liberals have the money. They just don't have the will or, more seriously, they must be spending it on their re-election campaign.

On top of that, the Liberal departments are either lying or grossly incompetent when it comes to security matters. At the Senate hearings, Kenny heard Canada Post claim that Air Canada is inspecting the incoming mail packages. Air Canada claimed that Canada Post is handling that. Now, the kicker, Transport Canada says neither one of them is inspecting the mail.

As though to bolster Kenny's revelations, Conservative Peter Mackay showed just how easy it was to evade port security. He simply scaled a fence, wondered around and then left the same way. Security didn't even know he was there. I'm not easily spooked, but this laxity after all the world-wide terrorist attacks has me abusing my worry beads.

Almost a year ago, Sheila Fraser took the Liberals to task over this inferior security. Like good boys, they swore that the recommendations to check personnel and implement other measures would be undertaken post haste. Now we see that they have done nothing substantive. Small wonder that Martin and his cabinet have offered almost no interviews about the recent bombings. They might have to admit that their petty political interests have topped Canadian's security concerns.

We have also seen the appalling poll that came out of Britain, which showed large numbers of British-Muslims either approved of the London bombings, or had "no opinion". Put latter in the "I'm happy camp". A majority thought that Britain was decadent and deserved to come to an end. Another large per cent thought that the Muslim community would not turn in the bombers, even if they knew who they were. In respect to this, what is our own government telling us about our Muslim communuties here? Has their general silence disguised what is not politically expedient to acknowledge? Do Muslims here feel similar disgust with Canadian values, which aren't far off Britain's? Where is the leadership in this country? Off glad-handing some church group, probably. We are in deep, deep trouble if we have to depend on this crew.

Islam for dummies

I happened to check out the CBC TV afternoon call-in show (Wed,. July 26). There was a Ms. Siddiqui as the guest commentator. She might as well have been called Ms. Slick. The topic was "What would you like to know about Islam." No matter what concerns the phone-in callers had, they were met with a set of talking points. Chief among this creeping barrage was that "Islam is the perfect faith of peace" and "yes, due to economics, ethnicity, rural areas, tradition, government edicts, rogue preachers, and peanut butter allergies, there were a 'few' misguided souls in the bosom of Islam. "Yes", to another question about the abuse of women. "There are areas of 'Muslim' countries where women are treated horribly", she calmly said, "But true Islam is..." She didn't directly explain how these 'few' could actually number millions all arounf the world. How it is that large towns in Nigeria could go nuts and hack their Christian brothers to death over some stupid TV statement out of Lagos? Or how massed attacks on the Christians of Sulewesi and Ambon can be justified. She had her talking points and she was sticking to them. "Did I mention that "Islam" means "peace"? The CBC woman, who was supposed to throw a few hardball questions at her, was totally comfortable with her guest's evasions. I'll bet that this interviewer's deference went over well with the Muslim community. The gist of the entire program was that somehow (through infidel ignorance) we Canadians have totally misunderstand Islam and its threat.

I am sorry they didn't have Aly Hindi on instead. Aly would have definitely given us the testosterone version. Muscular Islam, if you will. However, God forbid that CBC should have him on, lest he start talking about the cursed infidels and the Koranic rationale for world-wide Islamic domination. Still, bless the CBC, as they rarely disappoint you. Like an old "All in the Family" sitcom, they too have their scripted lines and talking points. The questions posed by listeners were excellent, really zeroing in with pertinent concerns. It was just the pablum answers that didn't cut it.

What made the show interesting, was to watch the new (but appropriately brittle) CBC presenter try to keep a value-neutral face on, while Ms. Siddiqui talked about the empowerment of Islamic females. Does that mean that now only two male witnesses have to see you raped before your word is believed in a Sharia court? But of course individual negative aspects of Islam, preached by its highest religious authorities, were gracefully skated over. She was a real pro. I'll give her that. Expect to see her again on CBC.

Would you say she is the female equivalent of Hussein Ibbish? He's been dusted off and brought out to try and convince everyone that profiling would be wrong in the search for terrorists. After all, not all Middle Easterners look the stereotype and profiling would infringe on their rights . . . probably be unconstitutional. Security wouldn't want to be accused of racism so they will not be checking East African, North African nor Middle Eastern males. To search a woman in a burqa or hijab would be against her honour and we can't have that either. So little old ladies will continue to be frisked and children's choirs on tour will receive special attention at airports. NJC

It was exactly this hate-mongering that inspired native-born British Muslims to slaughter innocent Britons.

In light of the current statements from the leaders of Canadian mosques condemning the Islamic terrorist attacks in London, politicians and the media have an obligation to look beyond the carefully crafted words and apply a test to see if these statements are as they appear, or if they are diversionary sophistry that serves a very different agenda. But Elamsry is a clever fellow, and realizes that, however wonderful and effective indiscriminate slaughter is in advancing the Islamist agenda, it also helps to have the Liberals government in your back pocket. One could argue that his threat of terrorism is simply the other side of the Islamist coin -- a complement to selling your vote to the Liberals in exchange for not interfering in the killing of israelis and providing moral cover for Islamic atrocities.

U.S. Tech Firms Help Governments Censor Internet -- Kelley Beaucar Blahos, FoxNews, July 19, 2005

WASHINGTON — Free speech advocates are frustrated with a host of American companies they say have been collaborating with oppressive regimes in countries like China, Iran and Saudi Arabia, to help them filter and monitor the Internet activity of their citizens.

Big technology names like Microsoft, Yahoo! and Cisco Systems. . . .

"These companies' lack of ethics is extremely worrisome," said Lucie Morillon, the Washington representative of Reporters Without Borders, an international advocacy group for journalists that monitors government repression of the Internet worldwide, documenting dissidents charged with breaking their country's Internet laws. For instance, the organization reports that an estimated 60 "cyber-dissidents" are in Chinese jails today.

[. . . . ] Representatives from Nortel and Cisco said they do not specifically design their technology for regimes like China to repress Internet access. They say they cannot control the use of the technology once it is enabled. For instance, the firewall that Cisco designed to combat viruses can also be used to block political content that the government does not like. [. . . . ]

China's Internet: Let a Thousand Filters Bloom -- Aided by US technology companies, Beijing tightens its control of information flow Rebecca MacKinnon, 28 June 2005, Yale Center for the Study of Globalization

More insidious than the open restriction on the blogging site is the invisible but fine mesh of censorship that China has installed, thanks to the assistance from leading Western firms. China is now engaged in an even larger investment in technology that would help control what its citizens can read on the web and what they can express. This system of censorship has undermined earlier optimism about the internet ushering an era of free expression in China.

How effective is this system? Not 100 percent, by any means, because tech-savvy users can always find ways around internet blocks. But experts who have studied China's system conclude that, as far as the Chinese Communist Party is concerned, it is effective enough to be worth the money and effort. A recent study by the Open Net Initiative (ONI), in conjunction with Harvard's Berkman Center for Internet and Society, reveals an increasingly sophisticated set of mechanisms through which Chinese internet users are prevented from accessing material deemed off-limits by the Chinese government. See: http://www.opennetinitiative.net/studies/china.

Though government statements emphasize anti-pornography crackdowns, ONI found the primary focus of China's filtering system to be on political content. [. . . . ]

Why Muslims lie

I just listened to Shahina Siddiqui out of Winnipeg on the CBC Newsworld afternoon call-in show, there to answer questions about Islam.

Michael from Newfoundland asked why Islam is in conflict with or attacking countries such as India, Thailand, et cetera, not just the West. In fact, he mentioned that Islam seems to be at odds with all the other great religions.

Siddiqui answered Michael's question by stating that the Buddhist Thais attacked Muslims in the south so, implied (stated?) was that Muslims were retaliating. That is wrong. The Muslims were active in southern Thailand many, many years ago and Buddhists were not attacking them. Muslims were bloody even then, before most in the West thought much about them. I suspect we could argue about who stepped over the violence line first and go back centuries in the argument, but Siddiqui admitted no other perspective about which came first. She just misinformed.

As for India, Siddiqui responded to questions with Islam is "peaceful", the usual . . . . A historian told me that it is Islamists who have been attacking India and Indians, not the other way around for example, though Indians may retaliate. Nevertheless, Siddiqui baldly asserted the opposite. Here, too, I suspect another perspective is necessary.

Siddiqui was supposed to answer all callers' questions about Islam. Was she invited in as a reasonable, truthful representative? (See article on truth above.) Where was the balancing, opposing view that CBC should be presenting at the same time? Surely, such a peaceful Muslim spokesperson would welcome discussion since presentation of one perspective is hardly unbiased? Siddiqui could have admitted there are conflicting views; instead, her answers were presented as information.

This was uninformative, indeed misleading, to Canadians serious about learning more.

I thought about calling to ask about Islamic justification for honour killing, clitorectomy and a few other salient features of Islam, but I knew I would not get through or, if I did, I would be cut off quickly. That is our CBC-Pravda's method. I've seen/heard/watched it too often.

Is it time for CBC, Liberal Propaganda Organ, to commission a poll, in the same vein as a few others, telling us we love Islam, want Shariah . . . . . and a few more items to support their Librano$ masters? These polling companies never call me. I would enjoy explaining what I think. That is why, undoubtedly, I won't hear from them.

Ms. Siddiqui, I have read, heard, seen NOTHING of Islam that leads me to respect Islam, as it is practised.

CBC, stop trying to tell us that we should. When Muslims clean up Islam, particularly, the treatment of women in Islamic countries, not just in the West, and when the followers clean out their Islamists, then, CBC might invite a representative back to talk to the rest of us. Until then, stop wasting taxpayers' money with hogwash.

CBC supports this kind of "information" show to support Liberal vote buying, in my opinion. Wait until the lads turn on the CBC gay gaggle -- once they are successful in Canada . . . with the help of the likes of the CBC.

It's time to man the barricades for civilization. Is that too blunt? Too true?

The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and the Solicitor General of Canada (Applicants)
v.
Mohamed Zeki Mahjoub (Respondent)
Indexed as: Canada (Minister of Citizenship and Immigration)v.Mahjoub (F.C.)
Federal Court, Dawson J.--Toronto, May 10; Ottawa, July 30, 2003.

Citizenship and Immigration -- Exclusion and Removal -- Removal of Refugees -- Respondent, citizen of Egypt, Convention refugee since 1996 -- Detained in June 2000 as threat to national security -- Certificate filed by Ministers determining respondent inadmissible person under Immigration Act, s. 19(1), found reasonable -- Application for order under Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, s. 84(2) for release from detention -- First decision rendered under s. 84(2) -- Procedure to be followed in s. 84(2) application -- Test to be applied under s. 84(2) two-fold, not met herein -- Court not satisfied Mahjoub will not be removed from Canada within reasonable time -- Also not convinced release from detention will not pose danger to national security, to safety of any person.

This was an application for an order, pursuant to subsection 84(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act that Mr. Mahjoub should be released from detention. Mahjoub entered Canada in December 1995 and soon after, he was declared by the Immigration and Refugee Board to be a Convention refugee. According to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), Mahjoub was a high-ranking member of an Egyptian Islamic terrorist organization, the Vanguards of Conquest, a radical wing of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad or Al Jihad. . . . The Immigration and Refugee Board found Mahjoub to be inadmissible, based on the security certificate, and a deportation order was therefore issued. Mahjoub invoked subsection 84(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act that had come into effect on June 28, 2002. Subsection 84(2) allows a foreign national who is not removed from Canada within 120 days after a security certificate has been found to be reasonable to apply to be released from detention.

Held, the application should be dismissed. . . .

Mr. Mahjoub impresses him as a quiet, honest and decent person who would neither pose a flight risk nor a danger to the public. Dr. Ali Hindy is willing to act, in his personal capacity, as a surety in the amoun t of between $15,000 and $20,000. He would undertake to maintain constant contact with Mr. Mahjoub and his family. In Dr. Ali Hindy's view, because Mr. Mahjoub is a practising Muslim, sureties signed by Dr. Ali Hindy and other members of the community will weigh very heavily upon him and will bind Mr. Mahjoub's actions. Dr. Ali Hindy confirmed that he understands the obligations of surety and would act in accordance with those obligations.

[38]On cross-examination, Dr. Ali Hindy confirmed that he works long hours, particularly on the weekends, and is a busy person. He would, however, give priority to Mr. Mahjoub. He agreed that he knows Mr. Mahjoub as one of the people in the community, and knows Mr. Mahjoub's wife much better. He confirmed th at he does not know Mr. Mahjoub "that much". With respect to his opinion as to whether or not Mr. Mahjoub would pose a flight risk or be a danger to the public, Dr. Ali Hindy said that when he speaks to a person of the same religious background he can tell if this person is honest or if he has some problems, and the way this person is thinking. [. . . . ] The mosque and Islamic centre are longtime places of interest to CSIS, especially after it was disclosed that the Khadr family had worshipped there and that two principals of its school had been detained abroad. [. . . . ]

His [Hindy's] surveillance helped Jaballah get out of jail the first time, after the imam testified that he saw nothing suspicious in Jaballah's behaviour. Hindy even hired Jaballah after his release as principal of the mosque's school. [Is that a reason to trust him? Or Ali Hindy? ]

Last autumn, Hindy dropped something of a bombshell when he told CanWest New Service that Saudi Arabia usually funds the building of mosques and helps pay the salaries of most clerics in Canada through the Saudi-run World Muslim League.

[. . . . ] The study for the Canadian Foreign Policy Journal by national security expert Martin Rudner of Carleton University said Saudi money is being used to extend its brand of militant Islam to Canada and foster the spread of terrorism.

Surely not. The "peaceful" ones? Who would have thought?

Squeak! That came from a woman.

CSIS fighting back against Muslim slander & Why Martin dithers

Notice how the left loves to explain Islamic savagery as a consequence of poverty, lack or opportunity, and marginalization? This imam has a PhD from a Canadian university. How do these factors explain this iman or Haroon Siddiqui? It seems to me that the more the West gives these terror promoters, the more they despise the hand that feeds them. Maybe a different strategy is needed.

Makes rare effort to reach out to public

Might I suggest that it is time for Muslims here to reach out to our security services?

Check the last three paragraphs (Ontario Hydro).

Think of our nuclear power sites. Think of their security -- or lack thereof. There were some startling lapses in security around one or more Quebec power sites -- posting on Frost Hits the Rhubarb previously.

Lorrie Goldstein: a must read

Lorrie Goldstein: "Fair and balanced?" Toronto Sun, July 27, 05

Goldstein has outdone himself -- and he's right. Don't miss the last part.

Consider whether, inadvertently, through the sin of omission, you are part of this problem

Out of Africa, Al Hindy & Elmasry, Rosset on the UN, Zimbabwe & Mugabe

Refugees -- again

Failed hit in London tied to East Africans -- "British newspapers focused outraged headlines on the fact that each of the four had received around $7,500 a year in housing-benefit payments, and more in income support." Paul Martin (definitely not our PM), Washington Times, July 27, 05

Police on Monday said Muktar Said Ibrahim, 27, had tried to detonate a bomb on Thursday on a double-decker bus and that Yasin Hassan Omar, 24, had staged a failed attack on the Underground system's Northern Line.

Yesterday, they identified the two as being from Eritrea and Somalia, respectively, and said both arrived in Britain with their parents in 1992. [. . . . ]

When a country allowed and allows entry of peoples from various areas of the world -- areas with utterly barbarous governments and systems of belief, our governments have accused those who question this of "racism" -- meanwhile buying votes in this way, particularly Muslim votes, as the Lieberals have done in Canada for years and years. When anyone suggested prior to the entry of "refugees" from these various areas of the world, particularly from extremist Islamic states, that we were importing trouble in the future, we were slapped down. Now, the chickens have come home to roost.

Democracy cannot import people who

* who have no idea of democracy, not having experienced it at home,

* who do not want to practice democracy,

* who want to treat women as they did in their home countries,

* who want to have their own schools--extremist schools--funded by extremist Wahhabis (Saudi Arabian, though perhaps not limited to SA),

* who import imams who preach subversion of our country while the politically correct smile and called it "multiculturalism" and "diversity',

* who want to create an Islamic or Islamist state--if the two differ in any appreciable way, the first salvo being introducing shariah law,

* who talk about their "rights" but not their "responsibilities",

* who use our tolerance and democratic institutions against the majority,

then we have allowed a fifth column to enter.
That group will not rest and Al Hindy and Elmasry are simply the public face of this, at first seemingly relatively benign, now becoming dangerous to our security.

The Trojan Horse led around by the Al Hindy's and the Elmasry's are on the prowl. We would be wise to be very wary and to stop them now. In the face of our security services' attempts to increase our security, these two are obstructionists, if not worse. If allowed to continue they may veer into or cause others to fall into:

* treason: one meaning of which is "treachery", or

* sedition: conduct or speech inciting to a rebellion or a breach of public order, 2. agitation against the authority of a government.

"Honour", Aly Hindy, CSIS, Lying, General Hillier, Elmasry, Anomaly, Restoring the Caliphate

Note: Please do not miss this post from yesterday. It reveals how our own government has been complicit in creating insecurity for Canadians through its immigration and refugee policies. Then it compounds the errors by underfunding our security, reducing manpower and then telling us we're safe -- years of lying.

We are all Israelis now -- How Ressam Entered Canada -- David Frum July 26, 2005 -- scroll down for this article with a must check link

"Ahmed Ressam: "Chapter 4: Sneaking In" -- This piece of scum has played Canadians and our immigration and refugee system for suckers -- your Canadian government at work"

He is just one of many roaming free around our country, as Hansard and several news items have reported. Where does Paul Martin stand? Or is he hiding?

Bruce Garvey is absolutely correct: "It's because we're at war, Dr. Elmasry. At war with a sick network of evil fanatics who practice their murder and terror in the name of your faith. And the sooner you and the rest of Canada wake up to the reality of it, the better." July 27, 05

[. . . . ] As for Canada, outside of General Rick Hillier, we've barely acknowledged we're involved.

That's why the General's blunt comments about killing Taliban "scumbags" in Afghanistan struck such a jarring note against the monotonous drone of our customary, politically correct platitudes.

The welcome comment prompted Canadian Islamic Congress (CIC) national president Mohamed Elmasry to ask Defence Minister Bill Graham if it is "acceptable for senior Canadian military officers to make public political statements about upcoming missions?"

That was but one of a list of 10 questions the CIC submitted to Graham. Here's another:

"Why should Canada involve itself militarily in a country where we will be most likely seen by the population as an occupying power helping promote American imperialism?"

Why are Muslims not on the side of trying to stop the terrorists?

CSIS makes rare public defence of its actions -- Denies allegations agents harassed Muslim woman in her home Isabel Vincent, July 27, 05

The allegations first surfaced in Toronto after Aly Hindy, the imam at the Salaheddin Islamic Centre, circulated a pamphlet to his congregants that stated CSIS had forcibly entered the woman's apartment and mistreated her.

The pamphlet also warned Muslims that they did not have to open their doors to CSIS agents and if they felt threatened they should call the police or 911.

Incidentally, how does one know whether they're lying to advance their cause which is acceptable to Allah, the cause of Islamicization of the West? Would you believe Aly Hindy or the word of a woman controlled by men, so afraid of her husband, she claims she could not tell him about the "harassment"? I think they're lying, pure and simple.

Is it not time to remove the Aly Hindy subversive element from public view -- perhaps on a world tour of indefinite length to one of the Islamic paradises he so seems to love. . . you know, the ones where men may kill women for "honour" and men can get away with rape and murder -- in fact, with just about anything? To a world where women themselves are so mind-controlled they will praise the honour killing of another woman?

A strange anomoly concerning the suicide bombers

Despite the blaring media statements about the causes for London and other terrorist bombing targets, there is a total absence of the people who should be at the forefront. According to many media outlets, the causes are--"the British-American invasion of Iraq" or "the American support for Israel" or "the defeat of the real Islamic Afghan order, the Taliban." Yet, there has not been a single Iraqi, Palestinian, or Afghani involved in an attack outside their own countries. Instead the jihadis all seem to come from countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, or other Islamic countries, which have never been attacked by Western forces. Doesn't that appear rather strange?

Also, if the death of innocent Iraqis is the real cause, then why do the endless massacres of innocent men, women and children by al-Qaeda not arouse their hatred? For that matter, did not Saddam and his Baathist thugs, responsible for at least a million Iraqi deaths, not count as a worthy target? Finally, have the jihadis not foreseen that their days are numbered, should the Americans and British leave. If the Baathist army remnants--their faux allies--don't polish them off, the majority Shi'ites will exact a vengance on them that would make the battle of Falluja seem like a rover, rover, come on over game.

What Do the Terrorists Want? July 26, 2005

[. . . . ] Terrorists openly declare this goal. The Islamists who assassinated Anwar el-Sadat in 1981 decorated their holding cages with banners proclaiming the "caliphate or death." A biography of one of the most influential Islamist thinkers of recent times and an influence on Osama bin Laden, Abdullah Azzam declares that his life "revolved around a single goal, namely the establishment of Allah's Rule on earth" and restoring the caliphate.
