Keith Martin: PM the ad "idiot", Defective Military Vehicles, Ecstasy-RCMP-CBSA

Paul Martin's Heroes Fund -- "A Liberal government would create a $25-million "heroes fund" to support families of firefighters, police officers and other public-safety workers killed in the line of duty"

If the PM weren't so crass, so craven ... so desperate, he would not have done this.

Yes, honour our fallen and support their families, but is that not part of our agreement with those who protect us--understood--the part that has been more honoured in the breech over the last several Liberal government(s) years?

Stop demonizing people involved in policing and security, firefighting and the military, to begin with (e.g. Think politicians evading responsibility for their part in not doing something about guns, drugs, organized crime and their part in creating dysfunctional communities--agreeing with the racism industry's whine, no matter how far-fetched.)

First, support these services so there is less chance of another Mayerthorpe, less chance of a police or border officer being harmed doing the job, less of all the dangers these people go into with inadequate support, whether it be funding for manpower, equipment (including arms for border security), adequately manning our ports and borders, funding for the RCMP, our military and regular police officers. Remember the RCMP posts closed or, as Landslide Annie would have you believe, "reallocated", some in the grow-op areas of Quebec. Bring the back ports police which were disbanded under Jean Chretien, fund adequately, get rid of the guns, drugs and organized criminal gangs -- take action in all the areas in which Liberal government(s) have been remiss.

'Huge' Ecstasy sweep in B.C.

The RCMP and Canada Border Services Agency stopped about $450 million in Ecstasy from hitting Toronto streets by seizing 4,500 kilos of the chemical used to make the drug.

Soldier: For example did you know that there are over 1,600 vehicles sitting idle on that Base because all of the axles have defects making the vehicles unsafe to drive. Does our Military have the money to repair or replace the axles? No !

Who gave out the contract to the firm that built these vehicles? The Fiberals against the wishes of DND!

Well, Paul? Would that have taken money away from the global governance plans?

Keith Martin had been a Conservative MP but he left to join the Liberals.

LIBERAL MP CALLS MARTIN "IDIOT"

"A Liberal MP is blaming an "idiot" in the party for allowing the release of a television ad that suggests a Conservative government would put troops on the streets of Canadian cities. Keith Martin said Thursday the ad was "appalling" and apologized to members of the military who were offended by it."

Also from CTV News

"In an interview Thursday morning on CTV's Canada AM, [Paul]Martin said he approved every one of the harshly critical ads -- including one that suggested the Tory Leader would use the military to occupy Canadian cities"

A friend told me that when PM appeared in Keith Martin's riding, Keith was not along for the Prime Ministerial gold dust to rub off on him. Was that his choice? Maybe he found out it was lead anyway.
