Ottawa – The Liberal Party of Canada today filed its annual 2005 return with Elections Canada indicating that it is in a surplus position. This year the Party has declared an accumulated surplus of $440,552.

Now just how did they do that? Perhaps more ....... creative bookkeeping as the one who posted this suggested ... with just a hint of incredulity: "They go from a $1.9 million dollar defict at the end of last election to a surplus of $440,552. So in a matter of a few months they end up in the black."
