Why would World Nuclear Association be part of this? What is the agenda? Especially note what groups--leftist--and countries--hotbeds of safe nuclear development such as Pakistan--are involved ... and the concern for the environment. It makes my antennae twitch.

The World Nuclear Association which advocates is not the same as IAEA which monitors the world's nuclear facilities (Korea?), and is located in Vienna.

The 2006 WNU Summer Institute will be held 8 July – 18 August and will be hosted by the Swedish Centre for Nuclear Technology (SKC),Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and France’s Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique (CEA).

For 5 weeks, formal lectures and group-work activities will take place at the Royal Park Hotel in Stockholm; this will also be where Fellows stay. The French component of the SI will be a one-week technical tour covering several of France's nuclear fuel cycle and research facilities.

Many I know and respect agree; I just don't like what this is connected with. Check further. Is Mo Strong still with AECL ... or is there a China Nuclear program ... France ... ?
