Paul Martin's $20-23-BILLION Promises -- How much is a $ BILLION?

David M. Schwartz' book: How much is a billion?

"How big is a billion? If a billion kids made a human tower, they would stand up past the moon. If you sat down to count from one to one billion, you would be counting for 95 years. If you found a goldfish bowl large enough hold a billion goldfish, it would be as big as a stadium." . . .

[graphic] A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into perspective in one of its press releases:

A billion seconds ago it was 1959 . . .

A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive . . .

A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age . . .

Multiply by 20 or 23 for what constitutes the billions Paul Martin has promised in various ways to buy votes and to hang onto power. Canadians have been suckered, again.

Why on earth would Canadians not see through Paul Martin . . . that the money PM has been busy bartering for his own advantage is THEIR OWN MONEY?
